It was 1978 when Amedeo and Costantino Romanelli, father and son, decided to dedicate themselves full time to farming. They established their agricultural venture in San Clemente of Montefalco in the region of Umbria, and began producing wine, oil and grains used to feed their livestock. Their wives, Anna Maria and Anna Rita, play a central role in both the farm and their family, and their sons Devis and Fabio have been raised on the estate in close contact with nature all their lives.
Today all three generations live and work together with great dedication in the beautiful territory of Montefalco. Over time, the production of oil and wine acquired increasing importance and has now become the focal point of the business.
“The wine and oil that we produce reflect the excellent quality and uniqueness of the soil, the plants and the microclimates that interact in our ecosystem. Because of this, we practice farming that is attentive to the requirements of the land and that maintains the delicate balance that characterizes our environment. Our products express our history, our land and our work.”
